I like both a lot. But there are a few things to take into consideration before making your choise. 1 - Japanese Straightening is a day trip to the salon. Granted it is fabulous, but I can take upwards of 5 hours depending on the length & texture of your hair. 2 - With Japanese Straightening you cannot have any other chemical services done. So its either you want it Straight, or you want to have fun with color. 3 - Japanese Starightening can be up to $1500, where as Brazilian straightening is usually about $250 4 - Brazilian straightening is coating, it does not break and restructure the disulfide bonds in your hair, as Japanese Straightening does. 5 - With Brazilian you can color your hair, which should be done a week before, as to not strip the straightener out of your hair. 6 - Thr Brazilian System has Keratin in it, leaving the hair soft and shiny when done.
I just relocated to Florida from New Jersey if you are in the Flemington area try Legends Salon and Spa. They are on Church street. If you are up North check DePasquale.
